Hope you're having a good start to your Sunday! Here's a look at what I've been up to recently:

🎂 Celebrated Valentine's

My wife's birthday is the same day as Valentine's Day, so every year my overwhelm goes into hyperdrive when it comes to planning it out. It's gotten better over the years though since we both tend to enjoy the simple pleasures that life has to offer now. Interestingly enough, my birthday lies on Remembrance Day which makes both our birthdays really easy to remember 😬.

🏋️ Stuck to my workout routine

This is awesome because over the years I've never been able to shift my mindset when it comes to my personal health and well-being. This year I started with the intention of keep my exercise routine short and simple and giving myself grace on the days when I don't complete a whole set of exercises (celebrate the small victories!). 

📝 Stationary I'm loving:

Jibun Techo DAYS: This is literally the best journal I've ever used, and I've used quite a few over the years. The Jibun Techo series from Japan helps me keep my thoughts and tasks organized on a daily basis. There is so much flexibility in how it's designed from to-do lists to habit trackers... If you're a fan of physical planners or journals that aren't overly complicated, this is definitely one to look into.

Uni Style-Fit Multi-pen: I love using Uni pens and I recently picked this one up on my travels to Hawaii back in November. The particular one I'm using has a metal body giving it a good weight for writing. I also love the inks that are in Uni pens - they're quick drying which prevents smudging on the thinner paper used in my Jibun Techo.

📚 Book(s) I'm currently reading:

$100M Dollar Leads by Alex Hormozi

"A person who pays with their time now is more likely to pay with their money later."

This book paired with Alex Hormozi's other book $100M Dollar Offers give you a straightforward perspective on building your business by understanding how to communicate the value of your offers to potential leads. I love the use of Hormozi's formulas and frameworks, especially when it comes to the value equation: 

(Dream Outcome x Perceived Likelihood of Achievement) / (Time Delay x Effort + Sacrifice)

I'll expand more on the value equation and how I've used to guide parent orientations since it's super helpful.

Unlocking the Secrets of Purple Star Astrology (紫微斗數):  Interestingly enough, my father-in-law has been a practitioner of Purple Star Astrology for over two decades. I was curious and learned a bit more about it from him so I got this book. On the rare occasion I like to casually share fortunes for friends and family members for funsies. It's always incredible to think about how strangely accurate a reading can be based off of a centuries old practice 🔮.

🛠️ Tools to check out:

Notion Calendar: This is a calendar that I use paired with the Notion app, which is a powerhouse app that I use daily for project management, documentation, training etc. I can't list everything that Notion is capable of but it is the top tool I strongly recommend to all my colleagues and friends since it's been incredibly useful for everything I do both personally and professionally.

Superpowered: This is an app that uses AI to make notes from Zoom meetings.

Snipd: Snipd is a new app that I've been using the trial version of that uses AI to make notes and highlights from my favorite podcast episodes. It's great whenever I want to revisit a podcast and reference key takeaways from it without having to play through the whole thing again and take physical notes.
